As we enter this new year, I want to reflect on our journey and look ahead to what’s in store.

Reflecting on Our Progress
Since 1st September 2024, we’ve achieved so much together. It’s remarkable to see how far we’ve come as a trust. Some key milestones include:
The launch of the PLT website which showcases our mission and values to the world.
An increased social media presence helps us connect with our community more effectively.
Implementing Arbor and Google platforms across the trust, streamlining our operations and fostering collaboration.
Centralised services that enhance efficiency and support our schools.
These achievements wouldn’t have been possible without your passion, dedication, and resilience. Whether through the inspiring lessons you deliver in classrooms, the creativity you bring to extracurricular programs, or the behind-the-scenes support that keeps everything running smoothly, your commitment shines in everything you do. For that, the trustees and I are incredibly grateful.
Embracing a Shared Mission
As we move forward, our mission remains clear: to educate all our primary children for life, inspired by expert professionals, in a place where everyone flourishes.
This mission is not just a goal; it’s a journey we undertake together. It’s about building each other up, supporting one another, and growing stronger as a team. Together, we can achieve incredible things.
Living Our Values

Our four core values will continue to guide us:
Collaboration: Working together to achieve shared goals.
Flourishing: Creating an environment where everyone can thrive.
Evidence-Informed: Grounding our work in research and best practices.
Belonging: Ensuring everyone feels valued and included.
The Meaning Behind Our Logo
Our logo is more than just a visual identity; it embodies the vision and values of the Primary Learning Trust:
The three figures with open arms symbolize community, collaboration, and inclusivity, representing our “family of schools.”
Their upward-reaching arms reflect aspiration, growth, and achievement, aligning with our goal to foster an environment where everyone flourishes.
The diverse colours highlight individuality and inclusion, ensuring all children are nurtured and supported.
The circular shape signifies unity and completeness, showcasing our holistic approach to education.
The initials “PLT” ground our identity in our shared mission of primary education.
Looking Ahead
As Helen Keller wisely said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” This sentiment resonates deeply with me and reflects the essence of what we strive for at PLT.
I am confident that 2025 will be a year of growth, achievement, and inspiration. Let’s start strong, stay united, and make a difference in the lives of every child we serve.
Together, we can make this a fantastic year!
