Gillian White is a seasoned educator with a career spanning over three decades in mathematics education. Starting in 1991 as a secondary mathematics teacher, she has taught across Key Stages 3 to A-level, fostering high achievement and self-belief in her students through positive reinforcement. My Story
In the final nine years of her career, Gillian led the North Mids Maths Hub, part of a national initiative coordinated by the National Centre for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics (NCETM). In this role, she provided continuous professional development to teachers from Key Stage 1 through post-16 across Walsall, Staffordshire, and Stoke-on-Trent, empowering educators to improve mathematics education locally. Retired since 2023, Gillian brings her wealth of experience and commitment to the Primary Learning Trust, supporting its mission to enhance educational outcomes for all students.
