I have over forty years of experience in education. I began to work closely with Ryders Hayes School back in 2003 and established a highly successful, and most enjoyable, working relationship. It is clear from my long association with the school that we share the same goals - that the children enjoy their education; are successful; and develop into confident, happy, resilient young people, ready to move on with their lives.
My Story
Having served as a governor for almost ten years, I took a short, work-related break, before re-joining as Vice-Chair in September 2020. I share the passion of the governing body and the staff at Ryders Hayes about making sure all children are given every opportunity to be the best that they can be. As Vice-Chair, I support the Chair in ensuring the effective functioning of the board and helping to facilitate the governing body to work as a team to challenge, support and contribute to the strategic leadership of the school.
Ryders Hayes is a wonderful school to be associated with – dynamic, resourceful, progressive and simply determined to give the children the very best. I feel privileged and proud to be given the opportunity to play a part.
