Central Services Manager &Governance Professional
I currently serve as the Central Services Manager (PA to CEO) & Governance Professional at Primary Learning Trust, where I lead key HR and administrative functions while supporting governance across the Academies within the Trust. In this role, I manage critical processes such as staff recruitment, employee relations, and operational support, ensuring seamless collaboration between central services and individual schools. Additionally, I play a key role in ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, working closely with trustees and governing bodies to facilitate effective decision-making and drive the Trust’s strategic goals.
My Story
With over 8 years of experience in administration, I have developed a robust foundation in strategic planning, policy development, and people management. Alongside my practical experience, I am continuously enhancing my expertise through certifications in Governance and People Management (HR), ensuring I stay at the forefront of best practices in the field.
My career in administration began as an apprentice in Business Administration at a local secondary school, where I quickly discovered my passion for supporting educational institutions. After earning my Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, I was appointed as Data Manager, which further honed my skills in data management, compliance, and school operations. This experience laid the groundwork for my current roles, enabling me to excel in governance and HR management.
As a former student of Ryders Hayes School, one of the academies within our Trust, I feel a genuine desire to see the Trust and its Academies flourish, and I look forward to contributing to its continued success as we expand.
